Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduate Zachary Hall is one of University of Phoenix’s many proud and successful alumni. Hall recently completed the MBA program and earned his degree, and he’s already utilized that degree to enhance his professional career.
Hall initially chose University of Phoenix from among several MBA programs. He was drawn to University of Phoenix’s combination of flexibility and accessibility, which are two main tenants that the University was founded on.
The University was formed in 1976 with the goal of making post-secondary academic training more widely available to non-traditional adult learners such as Hall and many others who have gone through the MBA program. Today, University of Phoenix has a large online presence that fully realizes this aim.
While enrolled in the University’s MBA program, Hall was pleased with both what he learned and how he learned. The courses were academically challenging and covered relevant subjects he needed to know, and all courses included a well-designed combination of individual and group work. Hall was able to complete the coursework on his schedule as his full-time job allowed, but he was also part of a team within each class. This individual and team structure is, of course, similar to the corporate environments that many MBA graduates ultimately find themselves working in.
In addition to the academic training, Hall also graduated from University of Phoenix with greater confidence in himself. The MBA program challenged him in ways that his previous employment had not, and succeeding in the program showed that he could take on obstacles. This confidence has also been instrumental in his success as an aviation account executive.
University of Phoenix made an advanced degree an achievable reality for many working adults. One student talked about how she had wanted to make a career change but didn’t know how she could find the time to go to class. University of Phoenix’s online registration and class schedule is easy to understand and set up, so she was able to log in and work on her classes and assignments whenever she had time.
Hall directly attributes his new employment position to completing an MBA degree at University of Phoenix. He possessed no prior aviation industry or sales experience before taking this job, and he’s pretty sure the employer would not have granted him an interview if he didn’t have an MBA. With the degree, Hall not only was able to get an interview, but he also got the job and has succeeded in the position. Hall was able to complete the coursework on his schedule as his full-time job allowed, but he was also part of a team within each class. This individual and team structure is, of course, similar to the corporate environments that many MBA graduates ultimately find themselves working in.
University of Phoenix has helped many business students like Hall throughout its 40-plus year history. There are MBA alumni in positions all over the world who are leading successful careers.
